The end of the year always provides a time for reflection and an opportunity to focus on the path forward for the year ahead and beyond. With this in mind, I want to take the time to share some of the exciting accomplishments and acknowledge the teams from CSE Crosscom US and UK, a leading provider of mission-critical communications and video solutions.
When I think back over our accomplishments for 2025, my first reflection is on the commitment and dedication of all our employees across all the businesses, from our first acquisition at Radio One, through RFC Wireless and more recently Chicago Communications, as well as our teams at CSE Crosscom UK and across Australia and New Zealand—together strengthening our position as a global communications and technology integrator and providing us the opportunity to serve our customers wherever they are in the world.
It is inevitable that, whenever a larger global company like CSE Crosscom acquires companies that were once locally family-run businesses, many employees will initially assume that the culture and day-to-day environment will change drastically. However, what I heard most from our CSE employees and former owners was that we kept the key elements that made their business successful while also creating opportunities for both company and personal growth. Employees emerged energized by being part of a global company with a vision for growth and the opportunity to broaden our product offerings to existing customers by bringing them a richer portfolio of voice, video, and data communications solutions.
In short, each business’s culture and environment remained pretty much intact. And yet, employees were still excited by the opportunity to deliver on our goal of providing integrated, mission-critical voice, video, and data solutions that keep businesses and schools safe, connected, and running efficiently—supporting public safety, enterprise communications, and critical infrastructure—with a renewed passion to make the world a safer place to work, live, and learn.
This past year, we also saw CSE Crosscom succeed in executing on our promise to provide services to global brands nationwide, as well as across the world. A select group of top-performing companies, represented in Wall Street’s “Magnificent Seven,” challenged us to do more for their offices and data centers worldwide, and we delivered. We were called upon to design, install, and maintain Motorola Solutions' two-way radio systems, Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), and integrated GPS and location-based software solutions within massive data center facilities sometimes exceeding twenty football fields. It was because of CSE Crosscom’s deep pool of technical expertise, project management, talented field service personnel, and strategic relationships across the world that allowed us to succeed in achieving their goals and ultimately be recognized as their premier communications provider going forward.
I have no doubt that achieving this level of trust simply could not have happened without CSE Crosscom’s commitment and capabilities in wireless communications, system integration, and field services.
Reflecting on employees’ perceptions that things did not change much this past year is somewhat refreshing. It means we are honoring our commitments to keep things the same while enhancing the depth of our teams across the country and abroad. From adding senior leadership at the branch levels to additional sales professionals, program management, and technical expertise within specialized areas of wireless voice, video, and data technology, we added key personnel whose capabilities are being leveraged across all our branches. This includes video system integrators with expertise in video surveillance, camera systems, VMS platforms, and Access Control. We have added certified iBwave engineers with expertise in ERCES/Public Safety-DAS and Cellular-DAS, who are already making significant contributions to new opportunities, as well as to traditional UHF-DAS deployments.
Of course, this past year also saw CSE Crosscom continue to deliver upon our core Motorola Solutions two-way radio systems. Across the country and in the UK, we continued to lead by selling and deploying two-way radio communications to schools, universities, large distribution centers, healthcare facilities, amusement parks, retail, hotels and resorts, data centers, and more. It is reassuring to me that, as we pursue our ambition to deliver integrated safety and security solutions across our vertical markets, we remain grounded in our leadership in providing best-in-class voice communications to our customers.
As I look to the future for CSE Crosscom US & UK, I am energized by the opportunities ahead to continue to grow organically and through strategic acquisitions. I think in the coming year you will see us continue our expansion across the US, as well as expand outside of the US—supporting our growth as a global mission-critical communications provider.
Organically, we will experience growth as we expand product offerings to our existing customers by bringing them integrated voice, video, and data solutions. As customers demand more from their safety and security technology, there is no one better equipped than CSE Crosscom and Motorola Solutions to deliver on these interoperable communications solutions. We are taking what were once disparate technologies and creating interoperable systems that provide automated response, real-time data, and situational awareness, enabling security personnel to make informed decisions before situations escalate.
CSE Crosscom UK’s success in integrating Motorola Solutions body-worn cameras into its solutions offering for retail, hospitality, healthcare, and education is a perfect example of how we can offer our traditional two-way radio customers an enhanced safety and security solution. Our body cameras’ ability to send alerts to dispatch enables security personnel to respond more quickly and with better information. For retailers in the UK, this technology has already demonstrated a significant reduction in thefts and aggressive confrontations, as documented in our Poundland Case Study.
In closing, I want to double down on my message of gratitude and recognition for our teams' achievements across the US and the UK. Their ability to keep their heads down and stay focused on the matters they can control has been nothing short of impressive to me. It is with this strong sense of commitment and dedication that I know the year ahead will be equally rewarding.
