How We Got Started
CHICAGO COMMUNICATIONS, LLC, formerly Chicago Communication Service, Inc., came into existence on October 1, 2004 to provide sales, installation and maintenance of communications equipment throughout the Chicago land area, much like that of our predecessor. Its principal’s: Cindy Glashagel, Kurt Hessler and our business adviser Ken Hessler, have 100 years of experience in the radio communications industry, primarily through our many years of valued service with Motorola Solutions.
We are a union company, represented by knowledgeable, trained, and experienced individuals in sales, system design, technical support, installation, maintenance, and backup services. Chicago Communications is a certified WBE, holding certificates with the Women’s Business Development Center & the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council, State of Illinois, Cook County and City of Chicago.
Our experience and knowledge allows us to provide a total solution to a customer’s communication needs.

During implementation, one vendor—Chicago Communications—retains full system responsibility. This assures the customer of having a single point of contact for any issue or question that arises during the installation process.
Experienced System Supplier & Integrator:
Chicago Communications LLC and its predecessor Chicago Communications Service, Inc. has been supplying and implementing communications systems since 1953. Since September of 1998 we have had over 6000 customers, many of which came from the Public Safety market.
Our presence in the Public Safety market as a premier supplier, installer and service provider of communications equipment is qualified by our vast customer base. We have extensive experience in Dispatch Center Solutions with over 250 Operator Positions, located at 30 Communication or 9-1-1Centers.
With our expanding Wireless Networking business, we have implemented 21 microwave backhaul sites reducing leased line costs, providing our customers a savings of $111,000 per year.
Our in building Distributed Antenna System enhancements for cellular and two-way radio coverage have surpassed 1000 buildings capable of communicating throughout the facility.
